Hannah Louise is a London-based photographer working across documentary and fine art portraiture.

 

Her work is concerned with visibility — who receives a sustained, considered gaze, and who gets reduced to a single curated moment.

Her subjects are drawn from underground subcultures and alternative communities: individuals who have built complex creative worlds outside mainstream recognition. She works from genuine insider access, producing images that are formally rigorous and politically conscious without sacrificing visceral presence.​​

​

She is drawn to the gap between public performance and private self — the labour, ritual and intimacy that polished images systematically exclude.
